I have been writing poetry and songs for roughly 20 years.

My writing credits include: Klink, MC Voltron, and The Fallen Good.

I tend to write evocative lyrics that challenge my listeners, but sincerely believe that if lyrics are too esoteric they can serve only to alienate your audience. The challenge is knowing your target-audience and writing something that's accessible to them. For this reason I insist projects begin with a real-time discussion to get an idea of who you are and where the song is coming from (as well as it's target demographic). That being said: Try to have an idea regarding the genre, tone/message, and target audience of your song before requesting services. I offer consultation services as well - details in separate post.

I love feedback and will take the time to learn what you would like to say and how you would like to say it. I'll then use my command of prose to communicate your vision in a clever, eloquent, and rhythmic fashion.

If we are able to communicate effectively then 2 revisions is typically enough to arrive at our goal. I love feedback and will work closely with you throughout the process in order to communicate your vision in a clever, eloquent, and rhythmic fashion. The process is usually like this:

-An initial conversation needs to happen so I can get the information I need to start putting pen to paper.

-I will provide you a sample in the first day or 2 after intake session to make sure the approach and style align to your needs.

-Within 3 days I will provide you with full lyrics. If there are big issues we will discuss them and they will be address in a timely manner (typically same day unless it is a full revision, then up to 3 days but usually less).

- Revised lyrics will be provided allowing for a final revision if necessary to fix any minor issues that may linger.

-When you're happy with the content I will provide a vocal guide in .mp3 format.
