My name is Do So, I rap and am a 20 year old musician living in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. MEANING, my most recent record is available to listen on Soundcloud (Where one more of my songs is also available), Spotify, and Apple Music. I wrote MEANING over a few nights and afterwards experienced events in my life similar to those in the track. Half a year later, I recorded the song. I freestyle and write my vocals and get instrumentals from producers that I have worked with and found online. Sometimes I start making a song from scratch without a beat, sometimes I start with a topic or phrase. Strong melodies, intricate word play, a consistent rhyme scheme, and unique words are all a part of my songwriting process; I imagine I am making love with the record when I do so.
