Adriano Cafagna, born on the 31st of January 1998 in Bari, is an italian musician, composer, arranger, session man and teacher.
He discovered the guitar at 12 and immediately fell in love with music and musical education.
He soon started taking private classical guitar lesson with his teacher, Mauro De Ceglie, graduated in classical guitar at "N. Piccinni" Conservatory of Bari.
Studying Bach, Beethoven, Segovia, Sagreras, Albeniz, Giuliani, he developed a straight-laced technique on the instrument and learned to organize his studies with high strictness.
He then started his journey into the modern music realm, and got into jazz and fusion rock music almost immediately, fascinated by the beauty of improvisation and the enormous amount of harmonic and melodic knowledge behind those genres and the artists that represented them.
Adriano graduated in 2016 in modern guitar techniques at Pearson with a BTEC LVL3 Diploma.
He then graduated at UWS (University Of West Scotland) and was awarded with a BA (Bachelor of Arts) in Commercial Music (w/honors).
During his musical journey, Adriano had the chance to collaborate with several artist in his hometown and around his region.
He was featured as a session man in various local jazz fusion groups and offered his services to other artists searching for a recording session guitarist.
He continues to study and collaborates with high caliber musicians and educators such as Vincenzo Maurogiovanni, winner of the 2007 EuroBass contest, Verve Records artist with 20+ studio albums recorded.
