My name is Andrew DeNicola, and I am a film/jazz composer. My musical experiences began in Elementary school when I first learned the Alto Saxophone. What drew me to music was the ability to improvise melodies on the saxophone. After that, I spent years studying music in many different settings. This eventually led me to receive a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music. At Berklee, I worked with the finest musicians in the world, including Billy Pierce, George Garzone, and Greg Hopkins. After graduating, I made my mark by releasing a few albums, writing music for a few documentaries, and performing around NYC. After the experience of COVID-19, I came back to CT, where I grew up and composed music for months. The result was my record 1+9 and a silent release called From The Heart. After this period, I applied to get my Master's degree at Queens College, and now completing the program, I have been actively writing and performing in the music world. My music reflects who I am, what I have experienced, and where I want to go.
