Hello! My name is Andy Schichter. I am a 4x Western Canadian Music Awards-nominated producer, recording & mixing engineer, and co-owner of Park Sound Studio in Vancouver, BC. I love helping artists execute their vision and find their voice in production and mixing projects.

I started my career assisting on Billboard charting records The Decemberists, Thao, Beth Orton and Black Prairie, learning how to communicate in the studio and how to not be afraid to think outside the box on productions. Since then my traditional and practical studio experience, combined with meticulous attention to detail and an innate desire for collaboration, has helped me build a career working alongside a long list of influential Canadian and international artists. My productions have been featured on Apple's Website, CBC Radio, Sirius XM, and numerous Spotify & Apple Music playlists. Most recently, my work with Trust This Mechanism, Cara Bateman, and Anna Katarina earned Producer and Audio Engineer nominations at the 2022, 2023 and 2024 Western Canadian Music Awards. In 2024, I co-produced Rare Americans' RA4: The Human Animal, which featured the hit song 'Stupid Heart'.
