44 years ago, a young 13 year old boy was given an opportunity to play a battle-of-the-bands in six months. The only problem was, he didn't have a band or any songs to play. He had only started about six months earlier. So he gathered his younger brother to play drums, a school friend to play guitar, and he wrote an eight-song set. With a drum-set made of car parts, and a bass guitar he got at a flea market for $1, they performed the concert. Out of four bands, they placed third.

This was a start

At the age of 17, he was performing in clubs all over NYC with a band he had with his brothers call 69 LIXX. This band was a cross between Lenny Kravitz, Black Sabbath, and White Zombie. They were signed to an indie label called Mutha Records

A few years Later he performed with a math-metal band named CHIKARA. This band started their own label called, "Weapons of Choice." They received air-play on a main stream radio show, was considered by RoadRunner records with an A&R named Paul Conroy

Around this same time he played bass for a singer-songwriter named Denise Barbarita who went on to win three Grammys for her studio work.
