Born in New York, Richard was introduced to music at the age of 10, and found a love for playing guitar early on in life. With his years of experience, he is able to play all different types of genres; Old school, hip hop, blues, rock, dance, funk, and any other style you can imagine--Anything from the Beatles all the way to Motown, Richard Belmond has done it! Richard crafted his guitar playing through session work all over New York City, playing a multitude of styles, songs, and even commercials in the 90s. In the 2000s, he began producing music for up and coming artists to be submitted to record labels. Now, Richard is here to bring your next track to life! In 1975, he made an album with his brothers--the Belmond Brothers--featuring session keyboardist and producer Paul Griffin, known for working with Steely Dan and others. He also often plays music for and with his family, and was most recently featured on his daughter Teza Belmond's albums as lead guitarist.
