Born in New York and raised in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, Brian Goddard's journey into the world of audio engineering began in his youth. Inspired by observing his brother’s interactions with prominent artists like Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men and Brandy at Mas Production and Studio 420, Brian was driven to carve out his own path in music. His formative years were spent interning at a local studio, where he mastered the fundamentals of audio engineering.
After graduating high school, Brian pursued formal education at the prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU, followed by studies at the Berklee College of Music. Here, he deepened his expertise in recording arts and the music business. His New York tenure was marked by significant contributions to various studios, notably aiding in the development of Samurai Hotel Recording Studio in Queens.
Seeking new challenges, Brian relocated to Los Angeles in 2015 to collaborate with Stan Greene, CEO of Arketek Music. As an assistant mixing engineer, he leveraged his rich educational background and diverse studio experience to enhance recordings for up-and-coming artists and established stars alike, including Jaden Smith, Big Sean, and O.T. Genesis.
Today, Brian helms his own studio in Downtown Los Angeles, a creative hub where he continues to shape the soundscapes of artists across all genres. Specializing in Dolby Atmos mixing, Brian is at the forefront of immersive audio technology, delivering a multidimensional listening experience that sets a new standard in the industry. His commitment to excellence not only defines his career but also elevates the music industry standard.
