Currently residing in Los Angeles, Smitty emerged onto the local scene in 1987 quickly becoming one of LA's in-demand bassists, working with some of the Industries top Artists such as: Anita Baker, Teena Marie, Natalie Cole, Tom Jones, Peabo Bryson, Jeffrey Osborne, George Howard, Gerald Albright, Tom Scott, Boney James, as well as “7” years with the Isley Brothers, to name a few!
