I have made a living with my guitar for the past 40 years.
I played lead guitar for the Osmond’s for 6 years performing in front of an average of 400,000 people yearly from 1992 to 1998.
I have been profiled in ‘Guitar Player’ & ‘Peavey Monitor’ magazines.
I won ‘Best Lead Guitarist’ at the Branson Entertainment Awards in ’95, ‘96 & ’97. I’ve done over 4,000 performances in Branson alone.
I currently have 3 instructional guitar DVD’s on the market. ‘Acoustic Guitar’ magazine says of one of my DVD's…. “a very good instructional DVD” (Feb. ’03)
I have taught guitar for many years. A total of 14 years with Tarpley Music based out of Texas. I have also taught many years on my own and also one year at the high school level in Burkburnette TX.
I have recorded over 130 cd’s with such varied artists as Mel Tillis, Boxcar Willie, The Osmond’s, The Moffatts (Polydor, Nashville), & Rex Allen Jr, to name a few.
I teach guitar at Evangel University in Springfield, MO. I also play 4 years with The Texas Tenors. I filmed a PBS Special with them that won 3 regional Emmy Awards.
Taylor Guitars ‘Wood & Steel’ did a great review on me in the summer 2005 issue on my CD ‘Guitar Texas’. It is still currently on their website. I also appeared in W&S in the fall ’09 issue.
In April of ’09 we did some USO/AFE shows that took us all the way to Baghdad Iraq and Ramstein AFB in Germany to perform for our troops.

I also am a Taylor Guitars, and Ernie Ball Strings endorsee.
In July of 2017 I played the main stage in Nashville, TN for the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society.
Also my instrumental version of ‘Yankee Doodle/Dixie’ can be heard on a new video game that is out now on PS4 and XboxOne. The game is entitled ‘Bush Hockey League’.
I have several CD’s of mine for sale; A Tribute to Chet Atkins, Try a Little Kindness, Finger Pickin’ Good, and my Christmas CD, An Ear Candy Christmas plus a few more.
