First-Call Bassist, Dave Welsch, has been been performing all styles of music for over 5 decades.

Dave has toured with Grammy Award winning artist, Victor Wooten, featured on Bass, Trumpet, Keyboards, and Vocals. He previously worked as Victor’s Tour Manager in 2005, 2007 and 2008. He has worked as Victor's Personal and Management Assistant for the past 27 years.

Dave also composes and produces the score for James Marlowe’s Trent Lockwood film series and recently composed music for 5-time Grammy Award-winning artist Victor Wooten's audio book, The Spirit of Music: The Lesson Continues. Dave also provided the voice for one of the characters and mixed and mastered the audio book at his DayGig Music- Studio D.

He recently completed post-production on Under The Mercy, a film by Eric Scott, Joe Cunningham and Peter Mahan. He received Honorable Mention for Best Original Soundtrack at the 2021 Prague International Indie Film Festival for composing, orchestrating, and performing the score. He is a BMI artist and publisher and is a member of the American Federation of Musicians.

As Production Manager he has worked with dozens of Artists including Stanley Clarke, Anthony Jackson, Will Lee, the late Rocco Prestia, Omar Hakim, Béla Fleck, Oteil Burbridge, Nate Watts, John Patitucci, Jason Scheff, Chuck Rainey, Rachel Z, Reggie Hamilton, Dennis Chambers, Mike Gordon, and many more.
