Following on from his previous success of his E.P. Breakthrough in 2018 and launch party which incidentally sold out the venue within weeks of being announced.
This successful launch was then followed by a short tour Which took him around the country playing his music at local venues.
His previous single Alive reached number 15 in the iTunes chart in 2015. Which both had extensive nationwide radio play including BBC Radio Cambridge, BBC Radio Northampton, BBC Radio Introducing and hundreds more local radio stations.
By playing numerous shows and festivals across the country Dan Knight has been proven to bring high energy and engaging live performance right through too silencing audiences with pure intimate performances.
His songwriting journey started young at the age of 8 when had grown fascinated by his Fathers Queen album, from then on he would spend most of his time singing along in his bedroom to his favourite greatest hits album by Queen. Which lent to him being inspired by the amazing falsetto he uses in his music today and was crucial in his quest to achieve a vocal range to reminiscent of the great Freddie Mercury.
It's this fascination that meant he was always writing his own songs whether it would be at school on a break or in his evenings at home. He felt compelled to write after gaining inspiration from the band. His songwriting then grew to involve personal experiences and easily relatable subjects.
This includes his previous title Winter Sun which he wrote after stopping to help a crying girl who he later found out was homeless. He met on the streets of Milton Keynes after a show and decided to Raise money for her with his guitar and voice so she had somewhere to stay for the night so she he wouldn't freeze in the winter night.
It’s these compelling lyrics and heartfelt notions that really stand out in his music and delivery, and have become so impactful to many of his fans from across the world.
