David is a professional audio engineer, music producer, and studio technician who previously oversaw all day-to-day operations at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, California (which in 2017, he played a key role in helping to relaunch.) David specializes in the use and technical upkeep of some of the rarest vintage recording equipment in existence and is a fierce advocate for the analog medium. Prior to assuming a position at Sound City Studios, David served as an engineer and studio manager at Waterfront Studios in Hudson, New York, under the direction of legendary engineer and producer, Henry Hirsch (Lenny Kravitz, Michael Jackson, Madonna). David was also a partner and engineer at Artfarm Recording in Accord, New York.

David has been privileged to work with the following artists, producers, and engineers: Garth Hudson (the Band), Esperanza Spalding, Fall Out Boy, Henry Hirsch (Lenny Kravitz), Earl Slick (David Bowie, John Lennon), Tony Levin, Suzanne Vega, Bob Clearmountain, Gerry Leonard (David Bowie, Rufus Wainwright), The Magnetic Fields, Darryl Jenifer (Bad Brains), Brandon Owens (Kendrick Lamar), Nico Segal & Nate Fox (Chance The Rapper/The Social Experiment), Avi Buffalo, Chris Hornbrook (Senses Fail), Ra Ra Riot, Krewella, Twitching Tongues.
