Hi! My name is David Blascoe and I am a session drummer based out of Nashville, TN.

I've been playing drums for over 25 years and I have been a full time professional drummer for 13 years. I was a co-founding member of the CCM band Citizen Way with whom I had two #1 radio singles, several other top tens, and toured the country with some of the biggest names in the industry. I left the group in 2019 to pursue a full time career recording and touring with as wide a range of artists as possible! I have performed or recorded with...Building 429, Stars Go Dim, Citizen Way, Danny Gokey, Kevin Max, Michael Tait, Jason Gray, Matt Hammitt, NewSong, Colton Dixon, Rebecca St. James, Haven Madison and more in a wide variety of genres and styles.

I track drums around Nashville at various studios but since 2020 when everybody was stuck at home, I really ramped up my remote tracking at my home studio and I would love to collaborate with you on your music! I use a variety of Shure, SE Electronics, Sennheiser, Lewitt and Neat microphones into Universal Audio and Apogee interfaces. I can accommodate up to 16 microphones for a full and detailed multitrack drum recording. My main tracking room has tall vaulted ceilings and sounds great. I also have a smaller and more dead sounding room available upon request.
