Italian-born, London-based dark pop artist, producer and songwriter FHUR crafts moody tracks with electronic and industrial influenced sounds and beats. Her debut single "We Just Wanna Have Fun”, introduced FHUR’s dark and alluring sound and was supported by numerous local radios and blogs. This release was followed by “Honey”, which earned the artist her first spin on BBC Introducing London, and "Yearn", that showcased her sonic exploration through dark pop and electronic music.
All three singles were included in her first EP "Defrag", whose title symbolises the process through which music helps her break, mend and express her emotions. FHUR’s last release of 2022, ’Scissors’, marked a new sonic direction with more experimental sounds and earned the artist her second play on BBC Introducing London.
Early 2023 saw FHUR releasing her first fully self-produced track ‘loops’. The track was positively received and also featured on Tom Robinson’s Mixtape on BBC Radio 6. She was also awarded the Help Musicians Fund for Recording & Releasing New Music in March. The funding allowed her to work on her second EP, due in early 2024. The first taster was the single Hotlines (September ’23), a dark dance track about modern obsession with digital contact. Hotlines was featured on Record of The Day and GlamGlare amongst others and also got support from BBC Introducing London.
Alongside BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 6, her songs were heard on Radio 1020, Islington Radio, Voices Radio, and Amazing Radio. She was also featured on notable blogs including CLOUT, Fresh On The Net and Record of the Day.
Since 2021, FHUR has been very active in London’s live music scene. Venues she’s performed at include 229 The Venue, The Spice of Life, sketch, The Grace, The Old Blue Last and Dalston Superstore.
