Filippe Dias figures among the most renowed Brazilian guitarists, being recognized as one of Brazil's great names on the genre.

In 2016, he released his first solo work, "Borderliner”. The 6-track EP featured some of Brazil’s finest blues musicians, such as pianist Adriano Grineberg and bassist Rodrigo Mantovani, as well as the Austrian award-winning B3 organ player Raphael Wressnig. While working on his first EP, Filippe toured around the country with the rock band Rotação Inversa, which was an opening act for some of Brazik’s most iconic pop-rock artists, such as Titãs, Paralamas do Sucesso and Frejat. In 2017 and 2018, the artist was a finalist at the Brazilian Music Pro Awards.

In 2018, he toured alongside comedian Patrick Maia, providing the original soundtrack for his comedy special “Piadas Curtas". Filippe also played guitars and provided arrangements and songwriting for the album “Amores” by Brazilian Pop Singer Dani Vellocet, in which he worked alongside Adriano Cintra (founding member of the famous Brazilian band CSS) and Rogerio Flausino (Jota Quest’s lead singer.). In August, Filippe releases Live Sesions, Filippe Dias Trio’s first record, which was produced, recorded and mixed by the artist himself.

As of 2018, Filippe Dias played on some of Brazil’s most important blues and jazz music festivals. In 2019, he played at the Rock in Rio Festival as Dani Vellocet’s guitarist. Filippe Dias went on to be awarded best blues artist at the Brazilian Music Pro Awards (Prêmio Profissionais da Música) of the same year.
In 2020, during the COVID pandemic, Filippe develops Blues Insights, his blues guitar course, which was released the following year. In parallel, he records guitars for a variety of artists, such as Nightmares on Wax and famous TV actress/singer Julia Konrad, whose first single, “Vuelve”, featured guitars and arrangements by Filippe.

In June 2022, Filippe Dias releases his first full length album, DIAS, recorded on analog tape at the legendary Mosh Studios, with production and mixing by Amleto Barboni and mastering by Brian Lucey (Dr John, Doyle Bramhall II, The Black Keys).
