He is employed in many styles such as jazz, latin, funk, hip-hop, R&B , pop and bigband music. Nevertheless he could fully apply in his own jazz quintet which satisfies his artistic motivation because they play Gergő's own compositions.
Gergő learned classical trumpet in high school to pick up the necessary technical knowledge, but during the years he always dealt with jazz music. He graduated Jazz trumpet Artist Bacherlor and Master degree at Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest which is one of the most prestigious universities in Europe.
He has some awards in the field of jazz. He got the first prize with a hip-hop fusion jazz band in Czech Jazz Contest, Prague 2015, also got first prize with his quintet in Jazz Showcase - Palace of Arts, 2016. Also in 2016 he won the Get Closer Jazz Contest with his quintet, where they gave a concert right before the great bassist, Richard Bona.
Beside the active life of a jazz and session musician, Gergő really loves doing studio
works in various styles.
