James Crofts has been a professional bassist for the last 17 years. After studying at The Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford, he started to pursue his musical career playing bass for original artist Rob Reynolds.
In 2001 James joined Bon Giovi and toured with the band for over 7 years. He left the band to pursue other projects including working with two ABBA shows touring around the world, engineering with Black Cat Audio, working with Transcend Media Group (management & record label), Kazbar Systems (recording studio design and build) and bassist with Aaron Luther.
In 2015 James rejoined Bon Giovi as Hugh McDonald.
“It is going to be great working with my long term brothers Dean, Wayne and James again and new brother Andrea. After being away from the band for many years I hope to bring renewed energy and life to the band with a few surprises along the way.”
James is also a session musician recording bass for original artists from his home studio. You can book James for online sessions.
