The Love of God, music, and people has been a driving force behind Joshua Long’s musical career. Growing up in the church, Josh has been performing music since he was 12 years old, playing alongside the organist of the church his father pastored in Baltimore, Maryland. Since the age of 16, Joshua has sought to write songs that express how he sees the world and will help people live better lives. He studied multiple instruments throughout high school and then went on to earn his bachelor in Jazz Performance at the University of Arts in Philadelphia. Over the years, he has worked with several different artists and bands, honing his skills as a musician and leader.

Joshua is now a songwriter, worship leader, producer, and music director. He is the Director of Music Ensembles at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis and plays regularly around the Baltimore-DC metro area. In 2015, Josh released All God’s Children as his first contemporary worship album. This led to Josh’s performance at the annual Wildgoose Festival in 2016, 2018, and 2019, and his participation as a song leader in the 2020 Unitarian Universalist Association General Assembly.

On June 19th, 2020, Joshua released the EP Speak to Me, a digital release of the 2017 AWAKE Ministries CD that included 4 brand new songs. It is available on all digital retailers.
