KG Man, born Tommaso Bai, is a prominent figure in the European reggae and dancehall scene. Born in Orbetello, he began playing guitar at a young age, setting the foundation for his future as a versatile musician. At 18, he fell in love with reggae music in all its forms, from roots to dancehall, and in 2004 he founded his first band, Quartiere Coffee, where he performed as a singer and riddim maker, starting his first tour.
With his natural talent for creating original melodies and his fluency in Jamaican patwa, KG Man quickly attracted the attention of international producers and record labels. In 2011, after years of hard work, he released "Man a Fighter," produced by MacroMarco (Macro Beats), which brought him to major festival stages such as Heineken Jammin Festival, Rototom Sunsplash, OverJam, Sonisphere, Venice Sunsplash, and One Love Festival. Since then, KG Man has collaborated with renowned reggae and dancehall artists like Sizzla, Luciano, Boom Da Bash, Mellow Mood, and Elephant Man, and has sung on celebrated riddims such as "Title riddim" with Pad Anthony (One Beat), "Ddanz Riddim" with Elephant Man (PrinceVibe), "Snapback Riddim" with Vybz Kartel (Tj Records), and "We Nah Bow riddim" with Sizzla (Boomshak Records).
In 2014, he released his album "International Business," featuring world-class artists and began collaborating with notable names in the Italian and international electronic scene, like Big Fish and his Doner Music roster, earning support from icons such as Skrillex and top labels like Mad Decent, Dim Mak, and Universal Music. In the following years, his live career as a vocalist and performer grew rapidly, with more international producers seeking his voice for their tracks. In 2019, he provided vocals for “Movin” by Deejay Time’s Albertino, Fargetta, Molella, and Prezioso and joined Jovanotti's Jova Beach Party.
In 2022, he embarked on a busy summer tour with Quartiere Coffee, and in 2023 he founded his record label, M1, which not only distributes his work but also promotes the work of other reggae and dancehall talents. For years, KG Man has worked with his professional studio, delivering complete projects with main vocal lines and harmonies tailored for genres like EDM, Afrobeat, House, Drum & Bass, Pop, and Hip Hop, with a strong specialization in reggae and raggamuffin. With his unique style and extensive experience, KG Man has made his mark on the music scene in Italy and beyond.
