While starting the work on her album, Linny entered 'The Next Big Thing,' a singing/songwriting competition hosted by The Online Recording Studio (London, UK). Out of nearly 1000 entries, Linny was selected as a top 10 contestant and later voted in by the public to win 3rd place overall.
