Known for her versatility, professionalism, energy and long blonde hair , Lindsay Martin is an LA-Based drummer quickly making a name for herself as a female drummer in the LA music scene.

Growing up on the family farm in Upstate NY, Lindsay began learning classical piano at age 6. At age 10, her Dad introduced her to the drums of Led Zeppelin’s John Bonham, and Lindsay’s journey began. Influences are John Bonham’s bombastic style, and Tommy Lee’s dramatic stage presence. Lindsay ties all this together while performing. As a teenager, Lindsay made a name for herself by entering a Guitar Center Drum Off competition at 16 and ‘wowed the crowd’, she scored the highest honors in multiple NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) competitions, and was touring Europe at 17 with American Music Abroad. In her high school marching band, Lindsay played a mix of snare and tenor drums as well. She was gigging throughout Albany, NY in their bar scene with local bands, and by senior year she was accepted into USC’s Popular Music Program. After graduating high school, she packed her bags and moved to LA in 2012.

Currently, Lindsay is working as a Freelance Drummer in the LA area. Lindsay has played cover bands, original projects, solo artists and more. She’s drum tech’d for some of the best in the LA area and volunteered for a kids’ music camp. She’s performed on several video shoots and she’s been hired for a variety of music projects.
