I became a fulltime professional musician (lead/backing vocals; acoustic/electric guitar), after my study Jazz Guitar at the Hilversum Conservatory, a faculty of the Amsterdam Academy for Performing Arts.

As a band member of several different bands and a solo artist as well, I developed my composing and writing and later on my arranging and producing skills. These days I'm predominantly active as a performing artist with The LSB Experience. With this band I did many national and international tours, bringing me to the UK and the USA on regular occasions. The LSB Experience released four albums in the past ten years.

In addition to my activities as a professional musician, I also worked a lot as a guitar and music teacher at several (music) schools.

After having gained years of experience within the context of a recording studio as a composer, vocalist/musician and producer, I founded my own music production company, LabaLaba Sound&Art, in 2019 (https://www.labalaba-soundart.com/en/)

The musical activities within my company are mainly aimed at producing singer-songwriters, but I do a lot of studio work as a session musician (vocals/guitar/arranging/programming/recording) as well.
I also compose and produce film music and music for jingles and corporate companies.
