From humble beginnings as a Techno label with one signed artist, Record Workz Studios has grown to become a “one stop shop” for artists. With the goal of seeking out opportunities and sharing resources with those who might not have them, it has grown to a full fledged media company. Kevin has spent over 7 years building a massive network of local artists, labels, photographers, booking agents, and other industry people to provide as much support possible to the local scene. Record Workz Studios now operates as a full service media company offering label services, videography and photography, publishing admin, broadcasting through online radio, events, and more. Since opening Record Workz Studios has signed music from the likes of Joel West, Techoma, Time Geometry, Kasey Riot, Rion Cincius, and the labels own Kevin Humphrey. The label focuses on bringing European style Techno and Acid, to the Canadian electronic music scene, and providing support and industry access to Vancouver’s local artists.
