Meet Rust and Ruin, a retro 70’s cover band with an eclectic sound of southern country acoustic rock, ranging from The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, and Crosby, Stills, and Nash. Rust and Ruin formed in Chester, Vermont in July of 2012, and they have been taking the Upper Valley by storm ever since. With a fusion of rock, country, and folk, Rust and Ruin have been performing live and Live Streaming during Covid for crowds everywhere. The band’s sweet three part harmony and fancy fretwork have taken fans and followers back to the Glory Days ever since.
Rust and Ruin is led by the vocal and instrumental talents of Josh Adams. Josh is a self-taught musician who first picked up a guitar at the age of 15 to emulate some of his musical hero’s like Joe Walsh, Billy Gibbons, and John Fogerty. His powerful voice, acoustic guitar work, and vast experience in the music circuit during his cover band days, exemplifies the skills, hard work and hard knocks it takes to be a musician in today's diverse world.

Beth’s love for music, and aspirations for fame began when she was very young, singing with her sister, in the church choir, and playing voice matchy-matchy to the tune of the vacuum cleaner in her spare time. She had two major auditions in her lifetime, which did not pan out, but Beth is not a quitter. She persisted. She was recruited to sing at weddings and other events and finally was discovered in the third grade, in the jump rope hall of fame, by Joshua Christian Adams. Eventually she would marry him and they would become a powerful duet making her dream of musical notoriety come true.
The amazing thing about this band is their experience and unmatched ability to work with their fellow musicians. Due to this skill their band is unconventional. They range from the acoustic Duo to a full band with horns, keys, drums, you name it! Music is their passion and it shows in each and every performance. The ability to customize each performance means each customer is able to get exactly the show they’re looking for. Most performances include Bassist Tom MacMillan, Tom is multi-talented and musically brilliant, he adds color to all of our performances with his personality and playing no matter which instrument he is playing. Tom is a Vietnam war veteran who has traveled the world, experienced more in his lifetime, and has more stories to share than most people you’ll ever meet. He’s a man of many talents and stories he’s impossible
