My name is Steven Schumann, I am an award winning cellist, composer, and producer living in Nashville TN where I make my living in the studio and on stage.

As a session musician and producer, I have had the pleasure of working with producers and artists of all different kinds, and I love helping people elevate their music to the next level with the use of real strings! About me-
I hold a BFA in classical cello performance, and a MM in commercial cello performance, which means that I possess the technicality and artistry of a classical cellist while also being deeply versed in other styles such as pop, fiddle, and jazz. Additionally, my background as a producer and engineer helps me to accurately gauge what a song needs from the perspective of mix and arrangement (and also I'm very good with Melodyne). Finally, I am a bit of a perfectionist when working on projects, which means that I take a meticulous approach whenever I am trusted with a song.
