Ben has played over the years with different types of bands, two of which, Tune and Jazziz won nationwide recognition and awards
( Bundesrockpreis 1984 in Lueneburg and SWR band competition 83). During this time he also had several studio jobs as well as TV/radio recording sessions. He produced several bands including Jazziz, recorded at RTL studios, Cologne and one mixed in New Jersey with John Lee, bass player with Dizzy Gillespie. He also played live gigs with many well known musicians in Europe including Wolfgang Lackerschmid, vibes.

He is working for years on writing instrumental jazz fusion and soundtracks for film/video with EFUZE and other projects. Gigs with Neil Currie, Gillian Snider, Lloyd Tomczak, Gerry Pittet, Bob Margolin, Dave Nelson, Vesti Hanson to name a few..
Ben taught for many years at German public and private music schools as well as giving private individual instruction.

Ben is also an expert at creating great drum sounds and recordings and produces drum tracks for musicians all over the world. His main gear is a 1980s Yamaha Recording 9000s Drumkit, a AMC all maple set, Noble&Cooley, K-Zildjan, Sabian and Paiste 602 cymbals as well as electronic drumkits (Roland, SD3 etc.)
