Despite having a record of his first produced hip hop song reaching Semi-Finalist in International Songwriting Competition, and later Community Pick Winner of Splice Remix Contest, he stopped making music for a while as he had to serve under United Nations Peace Keeping Force Mission in South Sudan, Africa. One day, after experiencing an impromptu music making session from a Sudanese student, he saw how what had first drawn him to it depended not on high tech gear or big studios but on lyrics, melody, and emotion. On leaving the army, he threw himself back into creating music. It has only been a year and half since he started producing which is another astounding aspect of his musical journey.
