Bobo Renthlei is a producer/guitarist based in Aizawl, India. He is the guitarist and keyboardist/synth player of the band Stacy’s Penitence. He is currently endorsed by Victory Amplification, Lsl Instruments, PRS Pulse Artist and has a deal with J Rockett Pedals. At the age of 12, Bobo Renthlei started playing the guitar and dreamed of being a professional musician. He is one of the most sought after session guitarist in Aizawl as his music range from pop to rnb, all the way to metal and jazz. After he finished his higher secondary level of study, he went to earn his Higher Diploma in Guitar Performance at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, London. Prior to that, he had won prizes like best guitarist in competitions he had taken part in. He was also a finalist in the nationwide Furtados Ultimate Guitarist Competition in India. He is the current guitarist for the reality show Mizo Idol and Thazual Awards. He has performed at the infamous Olympic Stadium with his old band called Morning Lane in 2013. He is greatly inspired by guitarist like Mark Lettieri, Isaiah Sharkey, John Petrucci, Tom Quayle, Chris Payton to name a few.
