Brent earned a Bachelor's of Music Education and a Performer's Certificate from the Indiana University Jacob's School of Music. He also earned a Master of Arts in Education in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Ball State University. Brent holds a K-12 Instrumental Music teaching license and a P-12 Building Level Administrative license in Indiana.
