My parents were regular concert goers who imbued in me an appreciation for all music. They took me to see everything from The Beach Boys to The Eagles, CSN, Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton, and many more (my first concert was Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine).
The guitar was my first love, with influences like Hendrix, Clapton, the Beatles, and Bob Dylan, to Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Ben Harper. In college, I studied classical guitar and jazz, which expanded my knowledge and skillset.
I've been songwriting for over 30 years, starting at age 15, recording rock songs on a small bedroom four-track recorder. Today, I'm still recording in a home studio, but a much more experienced one. Rock songs are still my driving force, though I've also composed and recorded music scores for short films, live theater, and radio commercials.
