Ryan Crabtree was born in Chattanooga, TN and moved to Asheville at the end of 2016. Raised by musicians, he began as a clarinetist in his middle school band but later on switched to bass. He continued to play bass through college, attending the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and graduated with his Bachelor of Music Education. In addition to his experience as a teacher, Ryan regularly tours around the region having performed over seven hundred shows with more than seventy different artists in the southeast.
