I have experience in several musical genres such as: World Music, Brazilian music, African music, Latin music, Pop, Jazz Fusion and Reggae.
During my career I had the opportunity to play with great musicians from the Brazilian and the world scene such as:
Hindi Zahra, Munir Hossn, Macaco, Mariene de Castro, Ellen Oléria, Margareth Menezes, Roberto Mendes, Sara Pi, Paul Beaubrun, Mario Canonge, Jurandir Santana, Ximo Tebar, Paulinho Lêmos, Mû Mbana, Mario Rossi, David Pastor, Arrastão da Timbalada.
I have recently collaborated in the recording of Munir Hossn’s record Made in Nordeste as well as the records of Ebra (Modern Africa I: Reveries), Macaco (Civilizado como los animales), Gafieira Miúda (Gafieira Miúda) and Stay Homas.
Currently I have my own musical project as a singer and percussionist as well as being the percussionist of Macaco.
As a producer I have recently produced Kashé, a project where I’m also the composer, musician and arranger. Apart from this project, I have also produced and participated as a musician in the songs Desacelerou (Cantáteis 103 e 104) by Mû Mbana and Chico César and Tabanka by the Cape Verdean musician Adé Costa.
From my home studio we can make a great partnership, working on your music based on your initial idea. I will be responsible for developing your song in a way that will identify you and for finding the appropriate elements that will give your music the particular format you are looking for.
Depending on the complexity and the texture of the sound, there is also the possibility of finishing certain jobs in one of the best studios of Barcelona.
