I am a self-employed guitarist who has been playing guitar for 16 years and playing/recording music professionally for 12 years. I started playing guitar at age 11, and started getting my first paying gigs at age 15. Since then I have lived and performed regularly in Southern New Mexico, Chicago, IL, and Austin, TX (where I am currently located). During that time I played with a variety of bands and musicians, including notable artists such as Butch Trucks (drummer of the Allman Brothers Band), Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), Colonel Bruce Hampton, Kofi Burbridge (Tedeschi Trucks Band and others), Little Ed (Chicago Blues star) and more. I've played at notable venues including Antone's (Austin), The Continental Club (Austin and Houston), C Boy's Heart and Soul (Austin), Stubb's (Austin), The Fairmont (Austin), House of Blues (Chicago), Blues on Halsted (Chicago), Rosa's (Chicago), Kingston Mines (Chicago), Rio Grande Theatre (Las Cruces, NM) and many more. In addition to that, I studied guitar with Dave Manley (guitarist who played with Herbie Hancock, Jill Scott, The Roots, and more) and Mike Stern (guitarist who played with Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorius, Michael Brecker, Pat Metheny, and more). I am currently furthering my studies at Berklee Online, and have been studying with guitarists such as Tim Miller, Norm Zocher, and many others.
