David Reed Watson, born in a small town just outside of Amherst, Massachusetts, began his journey in the music industry after serving in the Marines. Following his honorable service, he started his career by captivating audiences with his powerful vocals in the vibrant music scene of Boston’s clubs. Playing in these venues, he honed his craft and gained recognition for his exceptional talent, quickly becoming a sought-after artist.

In Los Angeles, David signed with his first major label band called ‘The Constant.’ Under this collaboration, he recorded two albums, one of which was meticulously mastered at Capitol Records by the renowned Robert Vosgien, leaving an indelible mark on his musical journey.

The talented singer had the privilege of lending his voice to the all-star album ‘Dreamworld’ alongside the band Rage of Angels. Guided by the accomplished producer and guitarist Kane Roberts, David co-wrote one of the tracks titled ‘With the Beating of Your Heart,’ which gained recognition on international releases in the UK, Russia, and Japan, featuring the exceptional guitar work of Tommy Denander.

In addition to his notable achievements, David co-founded the band Electric Messiah. Their album was recorded at Desert Moon Studios, with the expertise of renowned musicians Oz Fox and Michael T. Ross. The production was helmed by the esteemed Pat Fontaine, resulting in a captivating musical offering.

David co-wrote, sang, and embarked on European tours with celebrated bands Hirax and Raven. He also toured across North America, supporting renowned acts such as Sanctuary and Iced Earth. These tours were in promotion of two albums with Kill Ritual, namely Karma Machine and All Men Shall Fall, both of which received exceptional mixing and mastering by the esteemed Andy LaRocque from the renowned band King Diamond.

As the former lead vocalist of A Rising Force, David recorded the highly acclaimed album ‘Eclipse‘ at Winterland Studios. The album was skillfully mixed and mastered at Brian Bart’s Logic Studios and got signed to Dark Star Records (Universal/Sony). Their first song release and video, ‘Believe,’ made a significant impact.

Currently, David is the lead vocalist for the band Alchemy Fire, alongside Paul Wright (Deezl, Exocet) – Guitars, Tom Schofield (Oppressor, SOiL) – Drums, Felipe Kopke (For Ophelia’s Death) – Bass, Neil Taylor (Civilization One, Rekuiem) -Keyboards and Wayne Dorman (Onslaught, Goot) – Guitars. Signed with Qumran Records, their self-titled album, mixed by Ulrich Wild and mastered by Alex Psaroudakis, was released on May 12th, 2023. This release came out on Purple Vinyl, adding a unique touch to their musical offering. The album can be heard on major platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, and other major streaming platforms.
