Db Geare started playing guitar and singing when he was 16. He learned folk songs and whatever pop songs were within his grasp. When he heard that his high-school jazz band needed a guitar player, he thought, “How hard can it be?”

He has played in duos, trios, and quartets, as well as solo work. He wrote songs for the theater, and penned several musicals with Cynthia Galles for the Found Theatre in Long Beach. He has written children's music, songs for other artists, and sync music for television. He continues to do vocal and guitar session work, and also records in his home studio.
