Hi thanks for checking my profile out. I'm a seasoned DJ and Music producer, I was the first East African woman DJ now resident in Los Angeles California. I'm a versatile all rounder DJ leaning towards House /Electronic /Experimental/Afrohouse /African Bass/Eclectic sounds. I mainly produce house music with traces of African sounds/instruments but I go out of my comfort zone and make Pop, eclectic sounds, hiphop, trap, bass, and chill vibes. I love exploring sounds and venturing into ethereal spaces of music production.
Sometimes I DJ live using my Ableton Push and Traktor F1 or Mini Nova, I feature my own edits, fresh productions and remixes alongside handpicked bangers.
I founded Femme Electronic - a movement to support female DJs and electronic music producers in East Africa. I featured with the Black Madonna (now the Blessed Madonna) on the documentary Women Equalizing Music to help level the ground for women Djs. I have collaborated with several artists from South America and Africa on different projects.
