He has written original songs for Animal Planet, and his original songs and videos for the Story Wranglers youth program have been nominated for a Peabody Award.
Over a 20+ year career he has shared the stage with Allen Toussaint, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Grupo Fantasma, Count Basie Orchestra, Butch Miles, and Dale Watson, among many others. He also recorded trombone on Patty Griffin's 2019 GRAMMY-winning self-titled album. Currently Eddie performs all over the US (and occasionally internationally) with the platinum selling Squirrel Nut Zippers.
In addition to performing, recording and producing other people’s music, Eddie releases music regularly under the name Dreamboat Beats.
