Edgar Viltsans is a music producer, arranger, composer, and jazz pianist. He worked at Ukraine’s largest record label, MOZGI, collaborating with top artists like Potap, Nastya Kamenski, and Nadia Dorofeeva. Mr. Viltsans also performed with renowned jazz saxophonist Kenta Igarashi and served as a producer, pianist, and co-writer for legendary singer Petro Chorniy. Edgar holds a bachelor’s degree in jazz piano from the Glière Academy of Music in Kyiv.
Now based in Europe, he has made a name in the industry, working with Universal Latvia and collaborating with top musicians. In 2022, he became a DJ and on-air personality for Latvian Radio’s “Dod Pieci”, helping raise over €896,000 for charity.
His partnership with Katrina Gupalo has led to performances at major venues across Europe and the Middle East, as well as hit songs like “Dur Prom”, which spent 13 weeks in Latvia’s Top 10, and “The Cat’s Song”, which placed third in the 2024 Latvian Eurovision Competition.
