I'm born on the island of Ischia, in Naples gulf.
As a teenager I began to learn drumming under the guidance of Italian top-drummer Giancarlo Ippolito, and subsequently with another Italian top player, namely Tullio De Piscopo.
My early musical career was built up playing around Naples and my native island, then I moved to Milan in 1994, to focus on my knowledge of jazz and to give a foundation to my skills in production and recording.
In 2013 I moved to London and developed further my black music expertise, also spending a great deal of time in the studio environment with very established sound engineers and producers.
I currently work as freelance, due to a reasonably solid reputation as modern and versatile time-keeper.
I'm comfortable with funk, soul-jazz, blues, rock, hip-hop and R'n'B, without disdaining functions gigs and teaching.
I've been already providing remote drum recording for 12 years, and I warmly hope we can share some good musical journey together.
