Fabrice Lacourt is a guitarist /bassist/keyboardist/ composer born on 09/26/1979. He fell in love with his six-string instrument at the age of 14. He had a musical crush on metal in all its forms straight away (progressive, symphonic, instrumental, ...).
After 3 years as an autodidact, he took guitar lessons intensively. He fed on alternative music, progressive rock, blues, jazz and fusion, funk, groove, world music… Ever since then the fascination he felt about improvisation and harmony never stopped to grow.
He passionately studied some great guitarists' styles such as: Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vaï, Kiko Loureiro, Greg Howe, Shawn Lane, Al Di Meola or John Petrucci.
He started to teach guitar at the age of 19, a true vocation which is stronger than ever.
Many stage experiences came one after another since then, both in metal and jazz rock within several musical groups.
Fabrice was part of the progressive metal group VEDA for many years. The 2006 album "Mental Pabulum" received critical acclaim. The group opened for Ron Thal “Bumblefoot” during his French tour in 2002 (Toulouse and Montpellier).
