I have worked in the record biz exclusively starting as a salesperson, then a buyer/manager for three different record chains.
My next experience was that as New England Marketing Rep for Arista Records.
I left that corporate position to learn engineering at The Cars’ Syncro Sound Studios in Boston.
I moved to NYC for a job at the legendary Hit Factory. Within two years, I went Indy and constantly worked in London, Paris, Los Angeles, Tokyo, etc in addition to NYC as a mixer and remixer.
After moving to LA, I also worked extensively in emerging the J - Pop scene as a programmer, mixer, and remixer.
I met George Clinton in 2000 and spent an entire decade in Tallahassee, FL as producer in residence at his headquarters. I also designed and built his What Studio featuring a 72 input Neve VRP.
I currently work with many Atlanta based artists in addition to working on online projects.
I was fortunate to have learned from the greats in addition to mixing for such artists as Eric Clapton, Chaka Khan, Daryl Hall & John Oates, etc.
