He trained as a pianist, arranger and composer, studying at the CPM Music Institute in Milan and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston for studying "Advanced Mix and Mastering Techniques". Later on he also attended No.2 masterclass of Mix With The Masters, taught by Tony Maserati, in France at Studio La Fabrique and in Los Angeles at Mirrorball Entertainment.

In his career he worked on over 150 releases, exceeding 5 million units sold and over 40 million streamed tracks per year.

Since 2010, together with Michele Garruti, Eng.Antonio La Gatta (Consorzio Veneto Ricerca) and Doc. Millo Achille Beltrame, Giampaolo has created the project “We Hear The World” based on a study dedicated to one type of audio production suitable for wearers listening “Cochlear Implant”.
