Hey! My name is Dan. I am a drummer/percussionist based in North Carolina. I am a recent college graduate from UNC Asheville with a degree in Music Technology. Throughout the time I've spent playing and recording drums, I've learned what to do to get the best sound, whether that's at the source with tuning or dampening or what microphones to use to capture the sound.

Throughout my time playing, I’ve played quite a bit of worship gigs at churches, and while at school I’ve played in a few different school ensembles, including a Brazilian jazz Ensemble, 2 semesters of Funk/Fusion ensemble, and a percussion ensemble. Playing in these ensembles has brought me close to other musicians at school, one of which I played drums on her most recent album. Plus quite a few fun covers for school projects, including Summer Breeze and My Shiny Teeth (from The Fairly Oddparents).

My current setup includes a 90s Yamaha Maple Custom drum set with a few different snares and cymbals from Zildjian, Sabian, and Meinl. I currently record with some UA gear and Focusrite gear to my 2015 Macbook Pro running ProTools with a variety of microphones. I have a variety of different microphones from Shure, Cascade, SE, Vanguard, Beyerdynamic, Electro voice, and some extra random mics great for texture!
