Brisbane based Artist Isaac Kennedy is one of the most wanted hired guns in the Brisbane music scene. He has been labelled one of the most “Rock & Roll guitarists in the biz” playing at Brisbane’s best live music venues including Brooklyn Standard, Friday’s Riverside, Eat Street Northshore, Lefty’s Music Hall, Suzie Wong’s Good Time Bar, corporate events and weddings. He also has played for many different original artists and tours regularly, performing at Country Music festivals such as Tamworth, Gympie Muster and Groundwater for many years. Isaac is currently touring with Australian Country Music legend Adam Brand.

Isaac successfully completed his Bachelor of Arts and Graduate Diploma in secondary education and started to teach Guitar, Drum and Bass lessons. He has extensive experience teaching at Music tuition schools and was the Guitar and Drum teacher at two high schools in Brisbane for number of years. Isaac evolved as a musician and started to develop his skills in Production and Mixing. In 2021 he collaborated with other musicians and co-produced, mixed, engineered, tracked guitar, synth and backing vocals for Golden Guitar winner and Channel 9’s The Block contestant singer Kirsty Lee Akers’ album “Wild”, which hit #1 on the Australian Aria Charts.

In 2022 Isaac is the proud Owner and Producer at his own commercial front Megaphone Studios, where he continues to produce, record, mix and teach. Passion, ambition and integrity drive Isaac Kennedy and his work is quickly becoming high in demand.

Between touring, playing gigs with his own band, teaching and studio work, Isaac is a songwriter and artist in his own right. He began producing his own work from a young age and continues to work on his own music whilst also offering his skills, experience and ideas to others. Isaac’s signature country flair and understanding of various genres creates a unique style of songwriting. His ability to create catchy tunes that are both memorable and enjoyable are a distraction to the fact he makes it look so easy. With riffs and hooks inspiring the inner rocknrolla in all of us to let loose, Isaac’s individuality and humility motivates us, whilst wishing we had those luscious trademark curls.
