Shari Anderson and Rickia Lucas, better known as "JCM", have become one of the hottest new Inspirational Duos in the industry! They're locally known for their mixture of pop, rock, and urban twists on inspirational and gospel music. One of the group members said, "My best friend's got those smooth pretty girl vocals: And when you add that to a dynamic rap flow, it's like Fire& Ice"!
Beyond their dynamic and unique style is their passion to inspire others with the gifts God has given them. Their life's purpose and mission is to "Heal Souls and Enlarge the Body of Christ".
Straight from Memphis, TN, these young ladies are also educators, authors, writers, and parents. "It's kind of hard to categorize us because we've been engaging in our different passions since grade school...
Kia, Shari, and their best friends formed an all-girl group "5- 4- U" which was short lived in high School". In their college years, Shari, Kia and best friends formed another girl band "CHIC". "Yeah, we went from "Crazy, Hood, Independent Chicks, to Children of Hosanna in Christ! Ha, ha, ha. It was like God was taking us on this journey and getting us ready for JCM”, said Shari.
God called us into this ministry after college in 2011", said Shari. "No, we are serious about our work... People who work for man retire, but those who work for God are employed for eternity!", the group exclaimed when asked was this just a hobby for them. They are a part of B Works Entertainment and look forward to moving up to higher grounds in the near future, touching millions across the globe! So whether you call them Inspirational artists, Hip Hop Gospel performers or "musical evangelists", it's clear that JCM (Joyful, Compassionate, Melodies) is here to stay!
