American violinist Jennifer Louie was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was raised in Seattle, Washington. She started violin studies at age 9 and has continued making music, receiving degrees in violin performance from Western Washington University and Illinois State University with additional studies at Brevard Music Center, Domaine-Forget Music & Dance Academy, Killington Music Festival and Pierre Montreux School and Festival. Jennifer is an alumna of The University of Alabama.
Jennifer is a violinist with Starkville Symphony Orchestra has performed with twenty orchestras worldwide and has appeared in videos with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and members of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. She has recorded twelve opera albums with the Ohio Light Opera. Her recent solo violin album “Snow In Alabama”
takes her back to Christmas melodies that she enjoys sharing with her family and perhaps there will be “Snow In Alabama” this year! Jennifer is a voting member of The Recording Academy and an ASCAP member and makes her home in Alabama, USA.
