Jimena is an Argentine-born music composer, music arranger and pianist. She finished her studies at Catholic University of Argentina, specializing in film scoring and attended seminars and courses with recognized Film music composers and professionals.
Jimena has scored and composed music for several fiction and animated short films, theater, video games and documentary film. She also composes academic music for solo instruments and chamber orchestras. In 2021 she won a national scholarship to carry out her new contemporary audiovisual project for solo violin.
For her work as a composer she was interviewed for the platform “Alliance for Women Film Composers”. As a member of “Accion mujeres del cine” (Cinematographic industry working women collective) she took part in music discussions, podcasts and a film scoring panel and she is a member of the new interactive map “Creators of the history of music”.
