Early on in life, Jose Miguel Baez became obsessed with music. Picking up acoustic guitar and piano seemed like second nature to him. This led him to focus on learning both classical piano and electric guitar. An accomplished musician, he performed and toured as a keyboard player for many local bands. Touring, however, wasn't for him. Realizing that what he most loved doing was being involved with the technology of recording, the creative decision making of production and the thrill both of these gave him, he traveled to Berklee College of Music to study Music Production and Sound Engineering. He there met world class producers he would call his mentors (Prince Charles Alexander, Matthew Ellard, Susan Rodgers). Under their tutelage, he polished his ability to craft quality, engaging, emotional music with artists he worked with. Shortly after graduating, his work as a producer and engineer quickly gained recognition in media outlets such as Jay Z's "Life + Times" and the Boston Globe, to name a few. Currently he's based out of Allston, MA where he continues to work with artists locally, nationally and internationally.
