I'm first and foremost a composer. I'm inspired by the ways in which our universe manifests sound, and through my art, I explores how sound behaves in our world both physically and naturally. My works focus on an evolution of timbre and texture in time, in which harmonic languages are established and immerse listeners in contained soundworlds. These harmonic languages utilize the physics of sound by exploring the harmonic series, just intonation, and the physical properties of instruments in transparent and idiomatic ways.

I am capable of professional work in engraving, transcription, and arranging. I hold a Master of Arts from the University of Chicago, and I graduated Magna Cum Laude from William and Mary in May 2017 with a B.S. in physics and music.
